Atornix Gold Tablet is a combination of three medicines: aspirin/acetylsalicylic acid, atorvastatin, and clopidogrel. Aspirin and clopidogrel are antiplatelet medicines. They work by preventing the platelets from sticking together and decreasing the formation of harmful blood clots. On the other hand, atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine that blocks an enzyme that makes cholesterol in the body. It lowers the “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides and raises the “good” cholesterol (HDL).
